Ginger is commonly used in cold, cough and sore throat. Mix equal quantity of fresh ginger juice and honey. Add a little dab of salt to this. Keep half spoon of this mix on tongue and allow it to slowly get down through your throat. This relieves cough and sore throat.

Ginger increases sperm count and improves libido. It is best herbal ayurvedic remedy for erectile dysfunction. Almost all preparations used in Vajikarana Therapy contain Ginger

Research has shown that ginger may provide migraine relief due to its ability to stop prostaglandins from causing pain and inflammation in blood vessels.

Ginger helps improve the immune system. Consuming a little bit ginger a day can help foil potential risk of a stroke by inhibiting fatty deposits from the arteries. It also decreases bacterial infections in the stomach, and helps battle a bad cough and throat irritation.
